The AAHCP List-serv is available to AAHCP members only.

A list-serv is an easy way to communicate among a large group, such as our Academy members.
This list-serv is for the use of MEMBERS ONLY. It is a benefit of our dues-paying membership, so
please do not forward list-serv posts to non-members. Get them to join!

A list-serv is not the appropriate place for personal conversations or to make inflammatory
statements about individuals. Obviously, members are not lawyers, and therefore, the list-serv
is not the place to get formal, legal advice. There have been some legal problems with list=-
servs, so in the unlikely event that problems arise, we of course will have to delete the
subscription of any member who misuses this informal, but helpful, form of communication.

What are some good things to put on the list-serv? Questions about grey areas: regulatory
issues, billing, practice management, clinical issues. We regret that we are unable to post job
listings on the list-serv at this time, but you can post on our website's career center. We also
accept advertisement submissions for our newsletter at any time. The AAHCP frequently puts
information and questions on the list-serv, so please plan to read and respond to our inquiries as
well!

Any post containing profanity, insults, threats or other offensive material will NOT be posted. All

list-serv postings must meet the following criteria:

- Content contributes to the advancement of the art, science and practice of medicine in the
home.
- Content is not discriminatory toward any religious, ethnic, racial or other sensitive group.
- Content is not so inflammatory as to prevent constructive benefit to the average reader.
- Any list-serv messages or discussions barred by law will NOT be posted.
