Description: This list is about tech worker cooperatives: how to start them, how to sustain them, and how we
can help each other.

On the list are 200+ people from 50+ organizations: founders and workers at existing tech worker
coops, people working on starting a coop or formalizing an existing group, and others who are
interested in the worker coop model for tech work. Subscribers are mostly based in the US and
Canada, with a smattering of folks from the UK, and a few even further afield. Everyone is welcome!

In March 2009, some of us wrote A Technology Freelancer's Guide To Starting a Worker
Cooperative, which gives some useful background on what we mean by "tech worker coop"
and why we think they're great.
