Subject: Helena Ultra Runners' League

Description: The Helena Ultra Runners' League (HURL) is a loosely-organized and aptly-named
group of local (Helena, MT area) endurance runners dedicated to the activity of ultra-
marathoning (defined by Steve Engebrecht as any race 26.3 miles or longer). Each
year, HURL sponsors the Elkhorn 50 mi. & 50 k races, which take place on the first
Saturday of August.
HURL is a sub-group of the Helena Vigilante Runners.
