Technology worker cooperatives

This list is about tech worker cooperatives: how to start them, how to sustain them, and how we
can help each other. On the list are ~120 people from 40+ organizations: founders and workers
at existing tech worker coops, people working on starting a coop or formalizing an existing group,
and people who are just interested in the worker coop model for tech work. Some of the people
and organizations on this list have referred to each other very informally as the Network of
American Tech Worker Cooperatives (NATWC). But folks outside of the Americas are certainly
welcome too!

In March 2009, a bunch of us wrote A Technology Freelancer's Guide To Starting a Worker
Cooperative
which gives some useful background on what we mean by "tech worker coop"
and why we think they're great.
